Hi Friends ! Confused with title? Don't worry.... I'm going to discuss the topic photography !

Photography is the only art that attracts all the genre of people, seen as basic needs of our life. On the common side, People always love to be in photos irrespective of their age & they love to take the photos too! On the other hand, people don’t know how to capture the lovable moments though they have camera option in their hand. Even though all the people showing their interest in taking photos, it cannot be handled perfectly by anyone with just having camera. The people should be trained and experienced more if epic snaps are only the target.

Since camera comes in cheaper price mobile phones with no complex options, photography does not even fail to attract lower class & uneducated people! So, it gives all class of people a way to record what they want to record. With having camera option along with innovative thoughts, even an ordinary man can challenge a professional photographer. It is up to the people completely to use camera techniques in a better way. I request all the photo lovers to make use of all the camera options so effectively.

Seeing a photo, each people will conceive different understandings. Therefore, it explores the way for variety of thoughts. It also makes sure that each one will think on their own basic ideas. We can’t live with the same method or boring method all the time. Bringing changes is order of the day. So, none can say ‘no’ for new technologies to come. So, you must focus in innovating new things on your area of interest. It suits for photography as well. Recently, a change that has come in photography attracted all the people of world. Any guess?

Selfie, The real change
Yes. I’m talking about selfie and groupie. If you want to take a 'Selfie', you don’t need the help of anyone. But, you need front camera option enabled mobile phone. It is indeed a significant change in the world of photography. As we all know, the reasonable change will definitely make a quick attention from all kind of audiences. By this way, the selfie reached even to low level people, poor people. I personally feel that it is the real success for that change. The change that you want to bring in should be reasonable and adopted by all. If it is so, you can showcase your talent to the outside world and can take respect from them.

As you all know, taking photographs having many advantages. I would like to give you here a consolidation view of it.

First, whatever the photo type is, it will be used to recollect your memories. For example, if you have a school photo with you when your age is more than 50 or 60, you can show it to your friends and then you can share your words about it for long long time. You can cherish those moments. It would be very nice feeling. Isn’t it?

The coming generations will come to know about you and your life cycle activities as it records your life journey. It will surely guide them to lead a good life.

We won’t be in a situation where we forget our own friends or relatives names and faces if we have photos of them. I remember a dialogue now “Forgetful is a national disease”. And i can say "Photography is a solution to it". The photos what we have is always a proof of our friends or relatives faces.

It can fill up your free time. Seeing old photos will help you to throw your boring time out of your circle.

The intention of taking photos will inspire your imagination. So that, you can convert your imagination in to frames. Every frame of yours would sound a lot after all.

Sometimes, it could be a stress-free element. When you feel that you are in under stress, you can get meditation by means of seeing the photos you have taken.

Good photos will earn you more benefits and sometimes money if you are really passionate about it (or) photography is your professional.

It is impossible to visit all the beautiful locations and to look at the wonders of nature all around the world. So, sharing pictures with others will be very useful. Though you are not able to enjoy the wonders of nature directly, you can get an invisible experience from seeing photos.

You can use photos for many other purposes. You always feel happy if someone says that you are looking good. So, taking good picture of you is at least necessary. (Does your DP get more likes?)

Following the advantages, some problems pertaining to photography also come to the mind. It will never be possible to have a technology only with advantages.

Repetition of photos. With having latest options, it is possible to snap more shots within fraction of seconds. We also collect photos from our friends for the same event. These together cause repetition of same photo and it will make us so confused when we look at those photos later. To resolve this, select the best one out of it and erase all other pictures soon after taking pictures.

Conflicting with same model of photos. This is the major fault that has been casually done by almost every one of us. As we feel happy by taking photos at different occasions, we just take photos, not bothering about giving same reactions, same pose, etc. When you see those collections later, it will not entertain you because you will see the same pose and reaction in every frame. So, showing variations while taking photos will make each photo so much attractive.

Mishandling of photos. The photos must be protected from all kind of vulnerabilities. Otherwise it will lead to improper usage of photos. The chance of mishandling your photos is much higher if your photos can be accessed easily by others. We can secure our photos by following the below points.

Don’t upload your photos in unauthorized sites.

It is not fair to take picture of others before getting their permission.

Don’t express indecent poses/don’t capture indecent movements at any point of time.

Don’t keep your collection of snapshots in your PC’s or mobile phones. Because it has more chance to be stolen or misused by others. So, upload all your photos in any one of cloud storage for permanent usage. For example, Google provides a special application, named Google+, for managing your collection of snapshots.

More than anything that we discussed above, photography has been used as a medium to convey the useful message to the people. A simple photo can express us the impact or essence of the particular object or event easily and heavily rather than the impact that a long essay or a paragraph about that object or event makes. So, we can consider it as a medium to convey the useful messages to the people.

To understand it in a better way, I would like to give a picture explanation. Consider the topic ‘poverty’. If you will be asked to describe about poverty, you can write ‘n’ number of pages of contents with proper statistics. But, those contents will never ever be equal to a neat photography. Within a second, the neatly-made photo can get the maximum feelings out of you. See the following photo that talks about the poverty visually instead of words.

None can express the poverty in a better way more than what this picture of poverty expresses. So, photography has all the power to make social awareness among the people. So, handle this technology for a good cause.

Okey. Now it's the time for beginners! Note the below tips and start making pictures!

Move in closer

Whenever you spot a subject, move in closer to that subject and then snap a shot instead of focusing everything around that subject. Having your subject almost fill the frame helps your viewer understand your photo.

For example, if the eyes of your friend are beautiful then focus only his eyes, not his face. It will give your audience a better feel.

Be quick

It is a very important tip to note. Your friend will pose with good smile whenever you want. But other subjects like flying bird, working man, spots under good light won’t wait for you to shoot whenever you want. So it’s more important to be quick enough to shoot the running subjects. It is possible only by means of practicing. So, Practice getting quicker and quicker to snap the shots.

Don’t worry about taking too many pictures. We can choose the best one later.

Make sure the camera buttons are in the correct position and wait until the needed subject comes into the correct position.

Compose with care

Don’t take any picture without any interest. If you are really interested in taking a particular shot then put some serious effort to make it so beautiful. Make sure that your photo has all the elements in balance & your photo is meaningful.

Crop out the extra elements that you are not interested in.

Be selective

The selection is needed when we take multiple pictures of running subject. Consider a boy who is going by his bicycle at more speed. You can't take an accurate shot of him in a single click. It will go most of the time blurry. So, take multiple pictures and select the best one.

Focus only the subject you want to capture.

Focus should be on your subject. Don’t worry about the blurry background. All your viewers’ attention must only be on your subject.

Aim your subject.

Move your subject to the center area of camera view.

Be ready with a perfect position & your finger on the button.

Press the button and take the picture.

Look at the light

It is good to be working with different kind of lights. If a photo needs to be more colorful, it should work with following types of light.

Direct light gives brightness.

Indirect Light gives your photo softness.

Side light gives contrast to the subject.

These kinds of light will enhance the beauty of photos. Lights are sometimes used to create extraordinary shadows.

Plan the combination of subject and kind of light that you are going to involve.

Experiment this combination.

Watch the weather

Look outside and decide whether or not you are going to want to have the sky in your picture. If it's overcast, simply keep the sky out of your pictures as much as possible. When the day is beautiful, go ahead and make the most of it.

Be Bold

Don't allow yourself to be paralyzed by fears of using the wrong settings.Be bold enough to take pictures during any time and any situations.
